• Researched and identified the need for senior citizens to receive proper assistance in their daily living, teamed with one nursing student plus one business student to create a mobile app to meet this challenge
• Spearheaded the team in creating this community-based senior-care application named “elderU” to match the elders’ needs with community helpers’ availabilities, by using React Native programming platform
• Equipped both end users with an intuitive and clean interface to post tasks, find tasks, and match them together
• Provided additional recommendations on issues such as background checks and customer services
• Completed the entire app’s business development and promotional cycle from market analysis and validation, to cost study and breakdown, to video pitching and feedback studies, etc
• Awarded as one of the Top 10 Winners of 2019 Villanova Student Entrepreneurship Competition
